We did not have an agent when we decided to put our house up for sale. Our son, however, recommended someone he met through BNI and we are so glad he did. Charlotte, who we got to know as Charlie, made us immediately feel comfortable. She took us through the process involved in a sale and arranged for a walk through of the house. Afterwards, Charlie gave us some easy suggestions for making the house more marketable and did a Market Analysis to determine a fair asking price.
Our pregnant daughter and family, along with three dogs, were living in the house at the time and Charlie was very sensitive to her needs when setting up dates and times for the showings. And showings there were! Within a matter of two or three days we had multiple showings and more than one offer.
Upon accepting an offer, a house inspection was conducted and a list of requested repairs developed by the buyer. This was the most frustrating step of the process, but Charlie not only provided the encouragement we needed to get through it, but also was instrumental in identifying people that could help us get the work done.

Hien was referred by a friend who bought a house early last year. I contacted her right away and she sent me a list of houses based on our preferred price range and locations. The wonderful thing Hien quickly showed was the genuine concern she had for us. I was pregnant at the time and we would have closed a deal right away because we wanted to get a house before I gave birth. We hastily made offers on two houses. The first offer was on a new, very modern, spacious, and ready-to-move-in townhouse, but the schools in the area were not good. The second was a smaller townhouse, but the schools were good. A HUGE shot out to Charley for selling my house, you were amazing. I originally was selling my house by owner and unfortunately when the appraisal came in, it was $65,000 less then the agreed price of my house. I reached out to Charley and we both agreed that my house was listed for a fair price and we new the appraisal was completely off.. Charley did her research on the comps in my area we decided to list my house for $5,000 more than I did by owner. Not only did I get asking price for my house but I got $10,000 over asking price. Our next challenge would be the appraisal so I thought. Charley was on sight and presented info to the inspector about the comps in my area and pointed out all the updates in my house.
